About TP-Link Omada

TP-Link Omada is a network management app that lets you configure, monitor, and control your Omada devices directly from your smartphone or tablet. Manage wireless access points, routers, gateways, and switches with full visibility into network status and connected clients—all without leaving your hand.

The app supports two powerful operating modes. Standalone mode is built for quick setup and management of individual access points or wireless routers without needing a separate controller. This approach works best for smaller networks like home offices or small businesses that need basic functionality and rapid deployment. Each device is configured and managed independently, letting you get up and running in minutes.

Controller mode unlocks centralized management of entire network infrastructure. Connect the app to a software Omada Controller (v3.0.2 and above) or hardware Cloud Controller (OC200 V1, OC300 V1) to manage multiple devices at scale—access points, switches, gateways, and routers all from one interface. Unified settings synchronize automatically across your network, and you gain access to advanced configuration options that aren't available in standalone mode.

You can access Controller mode in two ways. Local Access connects you to the controller when your mobile device and controller are on the same network, offering fast, direct management. Cloud Access lets you manage your network from anywhere over the internet—whether you're at the office, traveling, or working remotely. This flexibility means network changes and monitoring don't stop when you leave the building.

The app supports a growing range of TP-Link devices including EAP access point models (EAP245, EAP225, EAP115, EAP110, and their outdoor and wall-mounted variants), wireless routers (ER706W and ER706W-4G), and more. Latest firmware is required for full compatibility and stability. As TP-Link continues expanding device support, additional models will be added to the compatible list.

Whether you manage a single access point from home or oversee a distributed network across multiple locations, TP-Link Omada gives you the tools to keep your network running smoothly from your mobile device.
